Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition No. 1600 Going to Auction on eBay

Your last chance to get a brand new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution in the U.S.

The Japanese automaker will auction the last ever Lancer Evo (No. 1,600) for the United States on eBay, with proceeds going to charity.

So what do you have to do to become the owner of the very last Evo produced? Just log on to eBay between September 8 and September 15 and place your bid for the four-door performance car. Naturally, the Lancer Evo No. 1600 will go to the highest bidder.

All proceeds will go to Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. The auction coincides with national Hunger Action Month when everyone in America is asked to take action and fight hunger in their community.

As a reminder, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition is the swan song of the performance sedan, as the automaker is discontinuing the popular series. The model features a turbocharged and intercooled four-cylinder 2.0-liter engine mated to a five-speed transmission.

With 303 horsepower and 305 lb-ft (413 Nm) of torque, the Final Edition is the most powerful mass-produced Evolution car ever built. The model also features dedicated suspension tuning for more focused handling, including Bilstein shock absorbers and Eibach springs, as well as an uprated braking system with Brembo 2-piece front rotors.

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Final Edition distinguishes itself from regular Evos thanks to exterior design tweaks including a black painted aluminum roof, gloss black center bumper and hood air outlet, dark chrome painted Enkei alloy wheels, dark chrome front grille surround, as well as a new Diamond White Pearl color.

Inside, the model features a gloss black center console box with production serial number plaque and red stitch accents on the sports seats, steering wheel, shift knob, console lid, floor mats, and e-brake handle.

Expect the Lancer Evo Final Edition No. 1600 to sell for much more than the MSRP of $37,995 the limited edition model carried when it went on sale last year.
