Celebrates the Le Mans-winning McLaren F1 GTR

McLaren summoned its MSO division for a very special (and bespoke) 720S that’s going to be sold through McLaren London.

The result was called 720S Stealth but it has nothing to do with discretion.

It is based on the McLaren 720S Performance and gets a new body paint called Sarthe Grey as a nod to the victory of McLaren’s F1 GTR back in 1995 at the famous Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans.

The grey exterior contrasts with Vermillion Red-painted bits and bobs found both inside and outside, including the 10-spoke super-lightweight alloy wheels.

What’s more, MSO made sure the 720S Stealth packs a hefty dose of carbon fiber, a material that’s found in the front air intakes, side mirrors, rear deck and so on.

McLaren doesn’t mention any technical upgrades for the 720S Stealth, which means whoever buys it will get the standard 4-liter twin-turbo V8 making 710 hp.

On the inside, the 720S retains the carbon fiber/Alcantara mix but with a new touch from MSO, represented by the red leather trim and Apex Red stitching found on the fascia, door interiors and seats.

No word on pricing either, but we imagine that’s a spicy affair.
