New trim sits above Allure in the Peugeot 308 UK range

Peugeot’s UK arm is upping the ante when it comes to tech and connectivity with the 308 Tech Edition priced at £22,400, which is £1,450 over what you’d normally pay for the 308 Allure.

The 308 Tech Edition, however, includes the Driver Assist Pack, Safety Pack, and Peugeot’s Connect SOS and Assistance service.

The Driver Assist Pack introduces the likes of adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking while the Safety Pack includes features like driver attention alert, speed limit recognition, active lane keeping assistance and active blind spot detection.

Peugeot’s press blurb also mentions the addition of LED front interior lighting, front and rear parking sensors, color back-up camera, power folding door mirrors, and automatic dual-zone climate control.

Also on the visual front, the Peugeot 308 Tech Edition brings ‘aluminum-style’ pedals and Alcantara seats with orange and blue stitching. Watch it from outside and you’ll be able to spot the new chrome trim for the radiator grille, a panoramic Cielo glass roof, halogen fog lights, and 17-inch Rubis alloy wheels.

Customers can have the Peugeot 308 Tech Edition in both hatchback and wagon shape (the SW model, that is) powered by one of the two following engines: 1.2-liter PureTech or 1.5-liter BlueHDI, twinned with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
