Limited-production model bags another circuit record
We love the mad, hand-built beast that is the Jaguar XE Project 8. I mean, how can you not love it, with its 5.0-liter V8, all-wheel drive, and hairy-chested attitude?
More to the point, it's not just a brag-mobile, as it already managed to set a record on the grueling Nordschleife back in November of 2017. And now it earned more credit, with Randy Probst setting a lap record at Laguna Seca, as Autoblog reports.
The Jaguar XE SV Project 8 ran a 1 minute, 37.54 seconds lap, making it the fastest production four-door sedan around this particular track.
The previous record was set by the Cadillac CTS-V, also driven by Probst, at 1 minute, 38.52 seconds.
Way to go, Jag, way to go!
