Who needs bags on vacation anyway?

The car rental market has expanded to the point where you can get your hands on the world’s fastest cars, and eventually score $47,000 in speeding tickets in Dubai while driving a Lamborghini Huracán, like that guy recently did in Dubai with a Lamborghini Huracán.

Celebrating its 100th anniversary, Hertz ordered one hundred Corvettes Z06 that have been specially prepped to match Hertz corporate’s color scheme. The underpinnings remain unchanged, which in this case is more than enough: the Z06 comes with 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet (881 Newton-meters) of torque, churned out of the supercharged 6.2-liter V8. 0-to-60 mph (96 km/h) happen in 2.95 seconds, quick enough to make your vacation an array of smiles.

On the downside, the Z06 doesn’t excel in passenger and cargo space: it can accommodate only two adults, and it has 15 cubic feet (425 liters) worth of cargo space. So you’ll have to leave your kids (along with some luggage) at the airport. But it seems to worth it.

Given the offer’s exquisite nature, the Hertz 100th Corvette Z06 is available in just 14 major airports across the United States: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Orlando, San Diego, San Francisco, and Tampa.

If you’ve just rerouted your vacation itinerary (which we totally understand) and want to get your hands on one of these bad boys, head on to Hertz’s official site, the Adrenaline Collection tab. You’ll also need up to $279 per day — the car is actually $199 but you shouldn’t dare to take it out of the parking lot before checking all the annexed services, insurance included.
